No Working on Surfing Days
The time has come to sum up the season and have a little change of scenery. The NWPD team is now in need of some good old fashioned R&R to soak our tired bodies and regenerate some grey matter to gear ourselves up for another season full of energy, news and fresh ideas.
From the end of November right up until our last tours at the end of May, 6 months of unchained action and energy have passed. Powder Days have truly been fickle and although we will admit to having suffered a bit, spring has been kind, allowing us to bid farewell to the season with a sweet taste in our mouths.
It has been a long and intense season. Not only have we organised events such as the Full Moon Rando, the Freeride Camp and the Mountain Workshops, we´ve also sponsored events like the El Dorado Freeride, the Dama Blanca ski race and the Gore Tex High Camp. On top we were lucky enough to be able to attend (amongst others) the FWT in Arcalís, and we were in Grandvalira for the Skiers Cup, FJT and the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships.
More and more people are joining us and sharing the NWPD philosophy – even if it is just ski bum central! We are so proud and excited to have reached and exceeded 5100 fans on Facebook, 2400 followers on Instagram and 800 on Twitter.
We want to thank each and every one of you for helping us to grow and we would like to thank in particular those of you who we have been lucky enough to have join us for our events (Rando Full Moon, Freeride Camp, Mountain Workshop….)
Aside from helping our favourite sport to further develop, your participation is our motivation, pushing us to work harder to make our brand grow – not only increasing our product range but also increasing its reach. Now we are face to face with the next step-for sure it will be full of surprises, we wouldn´t you to miss out!
In the meantime, we will be wrapping ourselves up in neoprene and diving head first into salty water. Our search for powder becomes our search for wind and waves, as we live life to the full, appreciating every experience and loving every moment.
Happy summer everyone! The countdown has begun…
