NWPD was born out of absurdity…Our story begins three seasons ago when we experienced a period of weeks of non stop snow. People told us that they hadn’t seen anything like it for fifteen years. Leaving home each day was an adventure in itself; armed with spades and ice scrapers we would attempt to dig out the cars and, with a bit of luck, make our way to work.
With so much snow however, at times it was simply impossible to get anywhere and it was a much better idea to grab skis and snowboards and make the most of the powder.
It wasn’t belong before we began to get used to these alternative days which were christened ‘No Working on powder Days.’
NWPD was born…
